Here is where I will recount my stories from working at a pet clinic. There are many funny and sad stories to be shared. I will also obsess over my dog, Otis. I have a rare disease called Mastocytosis that might be fun to talk about too! I might touch on school or my upcoming wedding, but mainly dog stuff.

Pet owners & Pointless Euthanasias

Here is a hint for everyone planning to cremate their pets at pet clinics and receive ashes back. Don't ever order the urns that they offer you. Those are marked up like crazy. Instead, get the urn the pet comes in (free) and buy a nice urn online for cheap. There are a variety of choices.

We had a woman come in this week to put her dog down. The dog was only like 6. The dog was peeing all over the house and had bit someone (not a bad bite). Anyway, when the woman comes in to put the 6 year old perfectly healthy dog down, she admits that her husband beats the dog and she had to choose between her dog and her marriage. Not to mention, she has children. I would choose the dog.

It's too bad she can't bring in the husband to be euthanized...I'm guessing the dog isn't the only one in that family he beats.

People suck.

Some things never change. And I agree, euthanize the hubby, with no ashes back.
